At Paw-fect Pets Home Visits, I like to do a meet and greet beforehand where possible before their home visits commmence. Together we will have a chat about your pet to see if we are the right fit for each other, as it is important that your pet feels comfortable with me for your reassurance.
 

What happens first?  

Contact me via the ‘Contact us’ page, we will arrange a meet and greet where you can introduce me to your pet. We will discuss their care        requirements then read and sign the care contract if you are happy to proceed. It would be useful if you have a spare key available at this appointment, otherwise you can drop the key to me or I will collect the keys from you on another date at a set cost of £5.
 

Will you collect and hold keys? 

Your keys will be stored safely with coloured/numbered tags so that they aren’t identifiable to your property. I am happy to hold a set of keys should any home visits be required at short notice. Please consider having spare keys ready for our meet and greet session,  otherwise you are welcome to drop the keys off with me or I can collect them for a set fee of £5 which will be included on your invoice.

How will I know that my pet will be safe with you?

I'm part of a SAR (search and rescue) team in Yorkshire for missing pets, so I am aware of the risks involved with pet safety. Your pets’ safety is of the highest importance to me. I will also send you updates on WhatsApp at each visit as agreed.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured and DBS checked.

Will you tell me how my pet is getting on?

Yes of course, photos and updates will be provided daily by what’s app for your peace of mind.

Can you give my pet their medication?

Yes, I am happy to give medication.  Please contact me beforehand to discuss. 

How do you deal with emergency situations?

If I have any concerns regarding your pet, you will be contacted immediately. I will ensure that I have all of your emergency contact information including your vetinery practice details.

Pricing

For either one dog/cat/hamster/rabbit/guinea pig - a small surcharge applies for extra pets please enquire. If you require additional services such as cage cleaning, please contact us. 

£8 for a 10/15 minute visit (£10 for weekends and Bank Holidays)

£12 for a 25/30 minute visit (£14 for weekends and Bank Holidays)
